These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Bungus ("we," "us," "our") governing your use of the Bungus application and website at bungus.money (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Bungus is a personal finance forecasting tool. It helps you visualize possible future cash flow scenarios using Monte Carlo simulation and other statistical methods.
Bungus is not financial advice. It is not a financial advisor, accountant, tax preparer, or fiduciary. The projections, simulations, and forecasts provided by Bungus are estimates based on the data you enter and statistical modeling. They are not guarantees of future financial outcomes. You should not make major financial decisions based solely on Bungus output without consulting a qualified financial professional.
You must provide a valid email address and create a password to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Bungus.
By creating an account, you consent to receive emails from us related to your account, subscription, billing, service updates, and changes to our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy.
Bungus offers a 30-day free trial. After the trial period, you need a paid subscription to continue using the Service. We offer monthly ($9/month) and annual ($90/year) plans.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period. You can cancel anytime through your account settings. If you cancel, you retain access through the end of your current billing period. No refunds for partial billing periods.
We use Stripe to process payments. We do not store your credit card information on our servers. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.
You retain ownership of all financial data you enter into the Service. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.
You can export or delete your data at any time. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that simulations will accurately predict future financial outcomes. All projections are statistical estimates, not guarantees.
Exchange rates, if used, are indicative and may not reflect real-time market rates. Business day calculations use US Federal holidays and may not account for all regional holidays.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bungus and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bungus and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. When we make material changes, you will be required to review and accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the Service. If you do not accept the updated Terms, you may not continue using the Service.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms or if required for legal or security reasons.
Sections 7 through 9, 13, and 14 shall survive termination of these Terms.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, any legal proceedings shall be governed by the laws of the United States and brought in a court of competent jurisdiction.
Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bungus regarding the Service.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
